The programmes are being moduled to help manifest one's personality. The central theme is spiritual development. keeping that in view, spiritual retreats will mainly be conducted on the lives and teachings of Indian spiritual personalities like Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, Sri Aurobindo etc. in addition to Yogasana, Pranayama, Meditation and devotional session. Trekking in the hills will be added feature of this retreat. The discourses will be delivered by Scholars pursuing the path of spiritual life. Board and lodging will be looked after by the Institute. It will be more of a meditative, contemplative and spiritually inspirational living for 7 days.
There will be 15 Retreats, 5 in each category. The form** can be had from this website from 31st of January, 2012. Each retreat will be of 7 days duration and there are 50 seats. These retreats will be conducted at the proposed centre of Human Excellence in Uttarakhand near Almora. The main purpose of these retreats will be to introduce the life and philosophy of Indian spiritual leaders and how one can follow one’s own spiritual aspirations in light of their teachings. There will be inhouse spiritual resource persons who can be consulted on personal spiritual matters during the retreat.
A membership form* is given in the website for online filling and sending along with a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only) . The form could also be printed after duly filled in and signed and sent. The cheque should be in the name of "Institute of Human Excellence" payable at New Delhi. The members are entitled to three days stay at the guest house with one more person freely. For stay more than three days, they are expected to pay donation to the institute for stay for a maximum of 7 days (inclusive of 3 free days) every alternate years for 10 years. This is an offer and does not constitute a right of a member. Coupons will be issued at a cost for food and beverages. Food will be exclusively vegetarian.
The spiritual retreat form** is also displayed for online filling and sent by email or alternatively by mail. The form should be enclosed with a cheque or draft in favour of "Institute of Human Excellence" payble in New Delhi, India. Advertisements to this effect will be published in spiritual magazines like Life Positive, Vedanta Kesari, The mountain path, and others.
The Application for joining the Insitute* as a full time worker for a minimum period of one year upto maximum of three years will be available on this site. Application for Resident Doctors* to join the institue will also be available in due course.
