The days of dogmatic religions are on its way out. The science of spirituality has begun. The outer ceremonials of religions are not necessary any more for modern man, like a particular dress code, elaborate worshipping or marks on body. These formal documents will soon be redundant.

‘Each soul is potentially divine’, so says Swami Vivekananda. We, at this centre of learning and spiritual discipline, will try and help each individual to manifest his divinity through work, yogasana, pranayama, meditation, study and  games. As all paths lead to the same goal, every individual will be free to nurture his/her spiritual progress in accordance with his/her inner spiritual urge. For this a basic thirst for spiritual living is a must.

All candidates who would like to join this institute have to comply with certain fundamental requirements and have to pass through rigorous training period of one year before he/she will be accepted as inmate of the Institute for a period of maximum 3 years.

The institute will take care of their board and lodging and  performance linked  prosperity packet.  This will be on yearly contract basis renewable on the basis of performance report. For health insurance and deposit scheme a certain amount will be deducted from the prosperity packet.  The amount deposited in the ‘deposit scheme’ will be given back with interest to the candidate while he or she desires to quit or his/her contract comes to an end.

The main purpose of IIHE is to create an environment for spiritual and intellectual growth of individuals with physical emphasis through exercise and games and help participants grow as per his/her nature of growth. The teachings will be based on the life and works of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Ma Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi and Sri Aurobindo & the Mother. Indian Culture, and other main civilizations of the world will also be taught.  The medium of teaching will be in English.

Once the candidates finish their training for one year, they will be sent to nearby villages at a radius of 50 km carrying with them globe, maps, telescope, mobile phone, lap top, educative films etc. for teaching a great deal of astronomy, geography, applications of science and a course  on the spiritual aspects of life. They will also tell stories of the nations, of scientific discoveries, and of inspiring lives of great men and women of the world.

IIHE will also have a research centre attached to a Library. The focus of research  will be on the lives of great spiritual personalities of India.

A community kitchen with latest infrastructure and facilities will be in place to provide boarding for 120 people at a time.  A guest house for people aspiring for spiritual life will be built to house guests at a moderate charge. Guests will be allowed to stay maximum 3 days and extension of stay will be at the discretion of the Management. People coming for any other reasons will be not be allowed to stay overnight.

A Board of Trustees will be responsible for running the Institute and to take important decisions.  The day to day activities will be looked after by a whole time Executive Officer who will report the activities to the Board of Trustees once in a six months.

All participants have to practice chanting of a divine name, meditation for half an hour in the morning daily in addition to devotional session for half an hour in the evening.

People having faith in Divine life will only be accepted.
